The Sussex Climate And Nature Network

The Sussex Climate And Nature Network (SCANN) brings together organisations, community groups and individuals from across Sussex to campaign for climate action and nature recovery. The network works to influence environmental policy and decision-making across Sussex and the future Brighton & Sussex Combined Mayoral Authority area.
SCANN was established in February 2026 following the launch of the Sussex & Brighton Strategic Authority Board, which is preparing for the introduction of a Combined Mayoral Authority in May 2028. Hosted by Friends of the Earth, SCANN acts as a collective voice for climate and nature, connecting local groups, volunteers and campaigners to advocate for a greener, fairer and more sustainable Sussex.
